Electrician Philly

Terms of Service

Last updated August 31, 2026

Electrician Philly ("Electrician Philly", "we", "us") is a lead referral and dispatch service operated by The Discoverability Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. These terms govern your use of this website and our service. By submitting a request, joining our electrician roster, or otherwise using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The most important thing on this page: we are not an electrical contractor. We do not perform electrical work, we do not employ the electricians we refer you to, and we are not a party to any agreement you make with one of them.

1. What the service is

We collect information about an electrical job from a homeowner or property owner and refer it to independent, licensed electrical contractors who may contact you about it. We do not perform, supervise, direct, inspect, or guarantee any electrical work. Any work you agree to is a contract solely between you and that contractor, who bills you directly.

The service is free to homeowners. We are paid by contractors who purchase referrals.

2. Consent to be contacted

When you submit a request you expressly agree that Electrician Philly and the licensed electrical contractors to whom we refer your request may contact you about that request by telephone call, text message, and email, at the number and address you provide, including through automated dialing or messaging systems. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Your request may be referred to more than one contractor, and each may contact you. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text message, telling a caller not to contact you again, or emailing privacy@electricianphilly.com. Message and data rates may apply.

3. Information you give us must be accurate

You agree to provide accurate information, and that the telephone number you give is one you own or are authorized to provide. Do not submit requests on behalf of someone else without their permission. We may refuse, hold, or remove any request we believe to be inaccurate, automated, abusive, or submitted without the owner's consent.

4. No warranty on referred contractors

We verify that a contractor holds a City of Philadelphia electrical contractor license and a current certificate of insurance at the time they join our roster, and we re-check insurance on expiry. That is the extent of our vetting.

We do not guarantee, and are not responsible for, any contractor's workmanship, licensing status after they join, insurance coverage at the time of your job, pricing, estimates, punctuality, conduct, or the outcome of any work. You are responsible for satisfying yourself about any contractor before hiring them, including confirming their license and insurance directly. Referral by us is not an endorsement, recommendation, or certification.
